Foreword: It is the last school day before Halloween and all the students in Grade 7 just consumed a large helping of candy - thanks to the whacky vice-principal, Mr. Broos. The sudden sugar rush of every Grade 7 student causes chaos to erupt. Prepare yourself for some madness in the hallway!

*break, in the hallway just outside all of the Grade 7 classrooms, where the lockers are (also known as the "Grade 7 neighbourhood")*
Ducki: *sings* Madness in ta hallway! Boom-chi-cha boom-cha boom!
Deanna: Ducki… what does that mean…? *uneasily* Why are you saying - er, singing that?
Ducki: Me no know what tat means! It just popped into my head!
Jayla: Uh-oh. *a funny smile on her face* Things randomly "popping into your head" is usually not a good thing!
Shelei: *deepens her voice* I've got a rather terrible feeling about this.
Jayla: *giggles at Shelei* Are you Obi-Wan?
Shelei: I could be Luke, or Han, or Anakin, or C-3PO. *waves her hand* You'll never know!
Linyear: Are you talking about Star Wars?
Jayla: Yeah!
Shelei: Duh!
Linyear: Nerds! *teasingly*
Jayla: Hey! *indignantly - she laughs* I watch it a lot with my brother and my cousins on my dad's side! It's NOSTALGIC to me!
Shelei: And they're good movies. Jay's got good taste in 'em.
Jayla: Oh yeah! *grins* You do too!
Ducki: Did somebody say NERDS?!
Linyear: I did! Why? *pauses* Oh yeah, you hate nerds. Why?

Deanna: *rolls her eyes* Much like you.
Ducki: What ta nerdy birdies?!?
Linyear: Oh yeah, that's true. We had a nerd go to Astral Street Elementary with us. He was also freaky weird.
Jayla: He seemed zoned out and half-asleep all the time. Not even from this planet! *giggles* But never mind THAT! We have my birthday party tomorrow and Halloween on Sunday!! Who's pumped?!
Linyear: Me! *raises her sleeved hand, giving an excited bob up and down*
Shelei: Oh yeah!
Deanna: Same. *not looking at Shelei*
Ducki: I WANT CHOCOLATE IN MY TUM-TUM!
Jayla: I'm sure you will BOTH days, between my birthday cake AND Halloween!

Shelei: Have fun trick-or-treatin'! I'm gonna go party and - *abruptly stops talking* … Uh…
Jayla: You're going to a Halloween party, Shelei? *curiously*
Deanna: *turns and narrows her eyes suspiciously at Shelei - as she often does*
Shelei: Mmm, yeah. Just with… some friends who don't go to this school.
Jayla: Oh! Well, have fun!
Mr. Broos: *struts down the hallway into the Grade 7 neighbourhood, wearing an Easter Bunny costume and holding a bucket* HO HO HO, CHIL-DREN! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Jayla: *stares* Uhhh…
Shelei: Oh dear.
Ducki: I'M SO CONFUSED!!
Mr. Broos: We gotta liven this place up!! HALLOWEEN CANDY FOR ALL! *starts grabbing and chucking handfuls and handfuls of candy and junk food from his bucket as he continues to strut down the hallway*
Grade 7 Students: *all rush to grab some*
Ducki: *runs* CHOCOLAAAAAAATE!! *scoops up some chocolate, rips off the wrappers - shoves a bunch into his beak*
Jayla: Ooooh…! *grabs and opens up a bag of sour Skittles, eats*
Shelei: *grabs and opens up a bag of Crispers, starts munching*
Linyear: Aren't you gonna have any, De? *eating a chocolate bar a lot more gracefully than Ducki is*
Deanna: No thanks! *shakes her head* Too much candy is bad for your health!
Shelei: Lighten up, eh? *stuffing her face*
Deanna: *sneers* Don't YOU tell me to - gugh?! *suddenly has a sucker in her mouth*
Ducki: *holding onto the stick* You will eat tis lollipop, and you will LIKE IT!!
Jayla & Shelei & Linyear: Hahahaha…!! *laughing HARD*
Shelei: In your face! Literally!
Deanna: Shut the fu - *hesitates… her expression relaxes* You know what, this is actually kinda good. *proceeds to eat the lollipop*

*five minutes later - after everyone has had plenty of candy and junk food… CHAOS ENSUES!*
Ducki: Blukaluka-WEINER-WOO!! WEEEEEEEEE!! *flaps his wings with a running start*
Deanna: Ducki, what are you -
Ducki: *takes off about a foot off the floor, then falls flat on his ass - his full stomach weighing him down* YOWZA!
Deanna: Pffffft….!! *tries not to laugh - but fails* Hahahahaha...!!
Piggo: Ohhhh MU-KUUUN-KAAAA!! *grinning at her*
Munka: *sees him - her eyes fly WIDE open* YAAAGH! *runs AWAY*
Piggo: *chases her*
Jayla & Shelei: *singing (quite loudly) the Star Wars theme together, both trying to hold in their laughter*
Linyear: *too busy staring full-on at Sky, in a trance - drool dripping down her chin*
Sky: Jozai, my man, what are you doin’??
Jozai: *trying (and failing) to breakdance - his ass on the floor trying to spin in a circle*
Potiphar: *laughs HARD* Man! We need Lupin to teach you a thing or two!
Sky: Oh yeah. *shrugs his shoulders to loosen up… he jumps, does a cartwheel, immediately followed by a backflip*
Jozai: Dude!! *amazed - he then proceeds to attempt a somersault, VERY poorly*
Jayla: *sees this* AHAHAHAhahaha…!! *can't help but laugh at Jozai's foolishness*
Dirk: HOMIES!! *running along with his fist out - a few students fist bumping him along the way… he stops in front of Sky* Sky, my gangsta!! You got MOVES!! *then smiles smugly* But so do I… *suddenly vanishes before him*
Sky: *jolts* What the - *glancing around*
Dirk: *is now behind him, holding up finger guns* BOOM! *“shootis” at Sky*
Sky: *flinches, feeling almost as though he was hit by an invisible nerf bullet* … What?
Toad:  *strutting down the hallway* Oh my winky…! How I love my winky…! *singing VERY poorly… he accidentally bumps into Kitura*
Kitura: *stumbles - looks to see who bumped into her* EWWW! *screws up her face* SICKO!! *karate chops him in the chest*
Toad: EEEEEK! *flies back with a high-pitched yell*
Tia: *giggling like crazy beside Kitura*
Toad: *lands ungracefully onto the floor, his sunglasses knocked off his face* YOWZA! *echoing Ducki… he sits up* Hey, no hatin’! But at least that wasn't my winky!
Dahc: WOOOOOOO! *running down the hallway… he suddenly bumps into Summer*
Summer: Ahhhh! *falls to the floor*
Dahc: Oops! S-sorry. *a bit red in the face - he helps her up*
Summer: That's okay…
Dahc: *nods at her briefly, then runs away*
Autumn: *had seen it all* Oooooh… I think someone has a cruuuush! *teasingly to Summer*
Summer: What?! *now red in the face too* You don't mean DAHC has a crush on me, do you?!
Autumn: Yup! *grinning* As they say, "bump mean loooooove!” *giggles hyperly*
Summer: Who on EARTH says THAT?!
Mr. Storrk: It’s a fact, Miss Medloy! *suddenly there beside them* A bump! A tap! Like a looooove peck!
Autumn: HA! *points and laughs at Summer*
Summer: *eyes WIDE* AHHHHHH!
Winlo: *wanders like a zombie over to Xerann and Christima* I want... A WEDGIE.
Xerann: *sees him - yelps and leaps into Christima’s arms*
Christima: Whoa! *stumbling, trying to hold onto Xerann and not drop her*
Xerann: You ain’t gettin’ one from ME! *to Winlo, then looks down at Christima* I had a nerd haunt me at Astral - I do NOT need another one haunting me HERE!!
Piggo: *chasing Munka still*
Ducki: MADNESS IN TA HALLWAY! Boom-chi-cha boom-cha boom! 
Linyear: *still staring at and daydreaming about Sky*
Ducki: *swings a wing over Linyear’s shoulder* Sing it wit me, Linny!
Linyear: *snaps out of her thoughts - observes the commotion around her for the first time… then swings her arm around Ducki’s shoulder too* MADNESS IN THE HALLWAY!
Linyear & Ducki: Boom-chi-cha boom-cha boom! *keep singing, AND laughing together*
Jayla & Shelei: *still singing Star Wars music together - now onto Darth Vader's theme*
Digger: *staring off into space… or rather… staring RIGHT at Deanna*
Deanna: Hmmm-hmmm-hmmm, hmmm-hmmm… *is humming her Aunt Geeswani’s favorite country song without realizing, swaying a bit* Hmmm-hmmm… heheeheeeee…!! *giggling stupidly*
Canari: *dashing down the hallway, dribbling his basketball* DUUUUUUDE!
Aerdna & Semaj & Yolanda: *giggle and whisper to each other… then look RIGHT at Sky*
Potiphar: *sees* … Uh-oh… they’re eyeing you again… *to Sky*
Sky: *sees too* Aww, cripes.
Semaj: Sky-y!! We are gonna GET yoooooou!! *sing-songy*
Aerdna & Semaj & Yolanda: *giggle and dash over to him*
Sky: *eyes fly WIDE open* YAAAGGGHH! *turns and RUNS*

Linyear: *stops singing as she sees the girls chase Sky… she scowls* Those bitches… they're at it AGAIN!! *lets go of Ducki and watches them like a hawk*
Ducki: Madness in ta hallway…! *still singing and dancing*
Sky & Aerdna & Semaj & Yolanda: *run one direction*
Piggo & Munka: *run the opposite direction towards them*
Piggo & Sky & Munka & Aerdna & Semaj & Yolanda: *somehow do NOT crash into each other*
Sky: *a crowd of sugar-hyped students has him cornered* Oh shit.
Aerdna & Semaj & Yolanda: *about to tackle him*
Linyear: *RUNS - intercepts the girls* MADNESS IN THE HALLWAY! Boom-chi-cha boom-cha boom! *sings and dances like a crazy girl, her oversized sleeves waving about, effectively blocking their path to him*
Aerdna & Semaj & Yolanda: *look at her strangely… they whisper to each other, then turn and leave*
Linyear: *stops singing and dancing* Phew! *turns around and looks at Sky*
Sky: *looking at Linyear, stunned… then clears his throat and straightens his jacket* Thanks. *wanders away*
Linyear: Anytime, Sky…! *staring after him… drifts off into another daydream*
Dirk: *disappearing and reappearing behind people* ABOOGITY-WOOGITY!! Mwahahahaha!! *laughing at anyone who gets startled* … OH RIGHT! *if they weren't scared, they earned a fist bump*
Winlo: *snuffles* Wedgie… I NEED a wedgie… *wanders over to Ducki* Yo, Duckster, can, uh, can you give me a wedgie, yo?
Ducki: *sees Winlo - jolts, flinging his wings HIGH into the air* AHHHHHHHH!!! A NERD!!! *runs AWAY - what looks like a tiny, unwrapped Hershey chocolate kiss falling out of… somewhere on his person (I mean, duck)*
Deanna: Hmm-hmm - hmmm? *stops humming… she squints at the floor* … Oh God… is that a Hershey kiss or a… *eyes widen, pupils shrink - she quickly covers her beak, suddenly feeling the urge to barf*
Shelei: *now singing Yoda's Theme for Jayla (who doesn't remember it very well), snapping her fingers along to the beat*
Jayla: Heehee, dundun, dun - heheheeee…!! *giggling hyperly, but at the same time trying her best to follow along*
Shelei: *Snaps her fingers one more time - a jolt of electricity shocks her* Ow!
A Strange Green Alien: *appears behind them* Shelei: *shaking her hand* What the hell was -
Jayla: HAHA! Oh my God! *cutting Shelei off, now laughing loudly… she sings again* Dadundun… blah, blah, blah… why can't I remember how this one goes?! I'm TRYING to follow along, but -

Jayla & Shelei: *turn around, see the alien... stare at him… both now silent… stunned…*
Jayla: *blinks in disbelief* ... Are you… are you SEEING this, Shelei…??
Shelei: Uh… huh… *nods slowly, her eyes wide in wonder*
Jayla: *looking at him in awe* ... He... kinda reminds me of... *trails off*
Shelei: … *she examines her shocked hand… then she raises it… and Snaps again*
A Strange Green Alien: *disappears*
Jayla: *gasps*
Jayla & Shelei: *look at each other*

Grade 7 Students: *meanwhile - all going NUTS (in their own way)!*
Linyear & Ducki & Digger & Mr. Storrk & Other Random People: *sing, standing side by side, arms around each other's shoulders doing the “can-can” dance* MADNESS IN THE/TA HALLWAY! BOOM-CHI-CHA BOOM-CHA BOOM! *repeat*
Sky: *doing backflips*
Jozai: *somewhat improving on his breakdancing*
Potiphar: *beatboxing as Sky and Jozai do their thing*
Canari: *trying to pelt a disappearing and reappearing Dirk with his basketball and various other sports balls, laughing*
Dirk: OH RIGHT! *disappears, then reappears - gets hit in the chest with a ball - he flies back from the impact* I’VE BEEN HIT!!! NOOOOOOO!!! *falls down*
Piggo: *STILL chasing Munka*
Dahc: *just bumped into Summer AGAIN*
Mr. Broos: *now dressed like Tarzan, swinging on a vine hanging from the ceiling that… wasn't there before?* AHHHHHH-AHH-AHHHHHHH! *more candy raining down, falling out of… somewhere on his person*
Grade 7 Students: *grabbing more candy, gobbling it UP*
A FAINT, DISEMBODIED VOICE: What a sight to behold…! I hope this image stays in my mind for as long as I am in my own reality…!! Madness… in the HALLWAY!! Ahahahaha…!! *maniacal laughter*
Jayla: *freezes up… having heard the voice, faintly but clearly… shifts her eyes back and forth, wondering if she's hearing things…*

*and then…*

*kaPOW!!!*

Everyone: *suddenly silent*
Mr. Broos: *slips from the vine* Ahhhhh-ahhh-ahhhhhh! *lands HARD on his ass* YOWZA!
*more silence*
Winlo: ... *blinks, standing in the center of the hallway, not a soul within five feet of him* Uhhhh… *snuffles* … it wasn't me!

Mr. N: *emerges from his classroom* Alright, 7-3, that's enough excitement for one day. Time to - *sees Mr. Broos and Mr. Storrk amongst the students* … Oh…
Mr. Broos: *scrambles up from off the floor* How doooooo, N?
Mr. N: What on earth was happening out here…? Why were you all acting so crazy??
Mr. Broos: Why, just some Halloween candy excitement for the chil-dren! It's the last school day before Halloween, you know.
Mr. N: I, uh… should have known you were behind this, Broos.
Ducki: Sowwy, we ate all ta chocolate and candy! *spots the Hershey chocolate kiss from earlier, still on the floor* Wait, tere's one left if you want it, Mr. N! *points*
Mr. N: *sees* Ooh! CHOCOLAAAAAAATE!! *hurries over and picks it up*
